Tuesday: PRACTICE UNTIL 4:45 IN COMMONS OUTSIDE OF ROOM 210! We will make a new chant line to mix things up a bit. No run-thru this week because it is an away game.
Wear any white shirt with black shorts. Not wearing the correct outfit will result in sitting the 1st quarter of the game on Thursday. We must be a team!

Wednesday: No practice.

Thursday: No Comp Practice! We will meet in front of Coach K's cheerleaders at McEachern( I believe the game will be all the way in the back on the practice field....recheck blog for further notice) at 6:15.

MOUNTAIN CHEER CLASSIC

RAFFLE

RAFFLE – THIS IS A MANDATORY FUNDRAISER !!

Each child is responsible for turning in at least one item with a minimum of 20.00 value. The item can be donated from a local business or you can purchase a restaurant gift card or merchant gift card. There is plenty of time for the girls to get donations from local businesses.

We will compile a list of all 50 items. We will draw the raffle tickets during the Mountain Cheer Classic on October 4th. There will be at least 50 chances to win.

The cheerleaders will sell the raffle tickets at the football games and we will also set up a table and sell them at the competition. They will be given a sheet with all the raffle items on it and will sell the tickets for 1.00 each.

The deadline for turning in raffle items is Monday September 9TH. Please make sure to put your name on the item you are donating, so I can mark you off the list.

ALL cheerleaders are invited to participate in the "Taste of Acworth" fashion show for Divas and Dames. We need to have a list of committed cheerleaders by next Friday, 10/12. Details as follows:

Fashion show is in Actworth on Saturday, October 20 at 2pm

Each participant will receive a $50 gift certificate to Divas and Dames

You will have to go by the store one day the week before the show to get fitted in the outfit you will model.

You will receive community service hours for participating.

I just wanted to give the girls that participated in the golf tournament a big round of applause! I am copying the email that was sent to the coaches from the lady in charge of the tournament:

"The girls did an awesome job. Many of us were saying this year's group of girls is noticeably more mature and lovely. 1. reminder that Poinsettia's will be delivered Thursday, Nov 30 @ 4pm and pick up is in the Theater Lobby from 5pm - 8pm. We need all the help we can get!!!!

2. Cheerleader volunteers are needed to help this Saturday for the middle school football events. There are 3 blocks of time where cheerleaders will be painting faces and tatoos. At the ½ time of each championship game we will be having a tumble off and lib off for their cheerleaders and our KMHS cherleaders will be the judges. The shifts are:
1.) 10am - 2pm

1. November 3rd Varsity Game: Be in front of the Varsity Cheerleaders 5 minutes before half-time. Make sure to wear something that says KMHS cheerleading on it. I will send you a free pass to the game sometime this week. You are free to leave after half-time.

2. November 10th Game: Wear KMHS Cheerleading Warmup to game. Do not wear uniform. Make sure to dress warm under your warmup. If you do not have the proper warmup you WILL NOT cheer! If you need to borrow someone's eighth grade warm-up please do so. NO stingrays warmups are acceptable. Please report to the gym after school that day.

3. Practice November 8th at 3:45-4:45. Practice is mandatory.
